Having bought a recently backed and ridden away young cob I wanted to ensure that the bit and bridle were going to be as comfortable anatomically and acceptable as possible in order to continue her education without issue for her. I sought excellent professional advice from Ruth Fisher who after extensive examination and consideration of the head, mouth and way of going advised on a different bit from that which I had been using and a different and anatomical bridle . Ruth Fisher took all the measurements of each component part of the bridle to ensure it would fit correctly and I ordered a Horsemanship bridle as you could order separate parts to make up a properly fitting , anatomical and unique bridle for maximum comfort for the horse.
The service from Horsemanship Saddlery was second to none. Quick and efficient. The leather is of excellent quality , soft and supple. The production of the leatherwork is exemplary. The bridle itself fits very well anatomically and is correct and smart.
The bridle together with the new bit , also sourced from Horsemanship Saddlery ,had an immediate positive effect and a big improvement seen and felt in her way of going, acceptance of the bit and taking the contact.

I’d like to say what a lovely experience it was having my bridles remote fitted, they’re very happy in them and are going nicely. It was really easy and simple to get them fitted by you and you were so helpful and knowledgeable. I massively appreciated the custom fit noseband for Wyn too with his oddly shaped head and the patience explaining what I needed and why. Thank you again.

: I recently ordered new bridle pieces to make a new bridle for my Connie, who doesn't fit any standard sizes. The advice prior to making my order was really helpful, and the bridle fits him really well. It also looks and feels lovely. Would definitely recommend this service.

I would definitely recommend Horsemanship Saddlery. I have trialled the wide stirrup leathers on my saddle which are very comfortable and never nip my leg.
I also have one of the anatomical bridles and an eclipse bit which have really helped my green mare accept the contact. She now works in a lovely outline and is much happier in her work

Hello, I brought two orbit bits from you.
The orbit D ring for schooling and solo rides which was recommended by Ruth Fisher, and a few months later I ordered the orbit universal with guards for group rides as he gets strong and giddy!
Absolutely fantastic bits!
Really pleased with them, and pleased that my boy is comfortable, his head shaking has reduced by atleast 90%.
I will consider ordering the orbit pelham in future, depending on which route we take with showing.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that they're worth every penny and have made such a huge difference to my boy! Thank you so much!
