Horsemanship Saddlery UK supplies saddlery, bits and other horse equipment through our web shop. Horsemanship Saddlery UK processes your personal data in accordance with data protection laws in the UK.

What information do we collect?

Horsemanship Saddlery UK has not enabled any cookies on our website and do not record any personal information other than that which is presented for making a purchase through the online shop.  We store the purchase history for all our customers in order to enable us to provide the best service possible.  These records are stored for no more than five years.  All records going back further than five years are physically destroyed and deleted from our systems where applicable.

When you set up a user account, submit an online enquiry or request information from us, we may ask for some or all of the following information, in addition to such additional information as you may volunteer:

  • your name;
  • account password;
  • role;
  • company name;
  • email address;
  • postal address;
  • telephone number; and
  • project name.

Once you create and log in to your user account or submit information through our website we will know who you are and you acknowledge that your activities on the website and information about you and/or your company may be recorded on our systems, which includes cloud-based systems.

Marketing

We limit the extent of our direct marketing by not sending emails, letter or making telephone calls regarding information on offers, products, services, etc, and would not do so unless you have explicitly told us to.

We do not provide any customer’s personal information to external organisations (i.e. to Specialists, merchants, distributors and retailers, which are outside of Horsemanship Saddlery UK.) for their own direct marketing purposes in relation to our products and services without your explicit consent.

If at any time you want to amend or delete your information submitted to us for direct marketing purposes by Horsemanship Saddlery UK, please contact Horsemanship Saddlery UK so that they can unsubscribe you from our systems. 

Who do we share this information with? 

As we operate as single enterprise, we do not share information with any other parties for the purposes of data analysis or processing.  This is all done within the company structure. 

We may disclose your personal information (if you have so permitted) to third parties located in the UK for the purposes of providing services pertaining to your horse or riding needs. We do not give permission for these parties to contact you about their promotions, services, events and other activities in relation to Horsemanship Saddlery UK products and services or for any other reason without your explicit consent.
