Multimate Horse Manure Briquette Press

This horse manure brick maker will produce 110mm x 95 mm x 54 mm bricks.

All presses are made to order, in Germany.

There is a 14-27 working day production time for the press, but it is worth waiting for.

They have a very high demand for these presses, They are only a very small company and only able to produce a limited amount of presses at a time.

They are extremely strong and made to last. I have had mine since 2022 and it has made over 20 thousand bricks and is still as good as new.

I have made over 5000 briquettes so far this year since mid-March, from only 2 horses. 1 horse will produce 40-50 briquettes per day.

I can make a briquette in under one minute.

Please see the video below of me making them.

Drying the Horse Manure Briquettes

I leave them on mesh grids, outside, for a couple of days, then move them into a polytunnel on mesh racks.
If the weather is fine, you can dry them completely outside, just covering them with a waterproof cover, if rain is forecast.

After about 1 to 2 weeks, they are then put in carrot sacks, 20 bricks in each, and hung up undercover, in an airy, dry space, to complete the drying process. This is weather dependent, but only takes a week or so in a polytunnel/greenhouse.
They are then ready to use.

I am based at YO8 6PX and you are welcome to come and see them made/dried/stored.

How well do they burn?

Horse manure briquettes light from paper. There is no need for firelighters.

I put about 4 or five on and turn the air inlet down to as low as possible after a minute or so, once the flames have started.

They last about an hour or more and give out a lot of heat.

One horse can keep your woodburner hot for about 10 hours/day.

Leg Extensions

I have trialed these and they make the process so much easier for taller people.

I am 5ft 7ins and they work for me.

With the normal legs which are supplied with the press, I used to put the legs on 5" concrete blocks, but these extensions work even better.

Make the front legs shorter than the back ones to help the liquid flow out quicker.

Extension Arm

I use this. It increases the pressure on the block in the press, This presses extra water out of it and also makes the briquette denser.
The drying time is not increased.
